Dementia UK
Brand awareness campaign

If you love someone living with dementia, you’re living with it too

We’ve been working closely with Dementia UK since for years, and helped the charity launch its first ever multi-channel national brand awareness campaign in 2022.

The five-year project has grown to become their biggest awareness campaign to date – aiming to reach the thousands of families struggling with dementia in silence, and show them they’re not alone. As the campaign’s lead agency, we head up all core messaging and creative.

The result

The Dementia UK team said it was so fulfilling to present a concept – to colleagues, supporters and beneficiaries – that instantly struck a chord, with little explanation.

It’s wonderful to work on a campaign where you can just say that line [and] people understand what the campaign is about. It’s the simplicity of it that we’re really proud of.”

  • To Claire, Natalie and Martin at Dementia UK for your invaluable insight and feedback.

To Dan, Abi, Aiyana, Tom and the team at Morever for the smooth phase 2 and 3 shoots.

To Kite Factory for making sure the work is seen.

To John Wildgoose and crew Thomas and Maya for phase 1 photography.

    Brilliant MUAs Lizz and Annelie.

Buff for working your parallax magic.

It’s worth adding that, over the years, life really has imitated art. A number of us are personally affected by this cause, ‘living with dementia’ while working on the project.
