Oasis Project is a non-profit based in the south east, and founded in 1997 to support women, children and families affected by drug or alcohol problems.
The work they do is all about bringing hope and the promise of renewal to lives torn apart by substance abuse. But the way they looked and sounded didn’t communicate any of that.
“We developed good relationships with all working on the project - a thoughtful, creative and intelligent team. Lark seemed to really ‘get’ Oasis from the start and were good at translating our ideas into a process which worked for everyone involved. The response was very positive; we had some excellent feedback from others in the sector and from funders too.”
Laura Ward, acting chief executive, Oasis Project
As well as rethinking their name, verbal positioning and tone, we created a completely new look and feel that was all about people, positivity and possibility.
First, we came up with a new colour palette that was vibrant, warm and welcoming. Then we created a fresh set of graphic assets featuring natural, organic shapes to suggest life and growth. And finally, we put the two together in a series of playful, quirky illustrations that put the humanity right back at the heart of the brand.
The team at Oasis Project were thrilled with the transformation – and we’re quite proud of it too. Now, they look and sound every inch the wonderful, life-affirming organisation they are.
